Abstract

The chapter covers long-standing energy cooperation between India and the West Asian region, a country-specific approach of relationship, an “Asia bound” oil, insecurity aspects due to internal civil wars and external powers involvement, India’s response to the West Asian crisis and security challenges and New Delhi’s balancing approach to regional issues.
