This chapter deals with business matters, starting with some historical instances. It then goes on to deal with money matters, factors in business, succession planning, freedom of expression. A commentary is applied before the conclusions are drawn, namely that treating workers with appropriate respect has economic benefits. The chapter concludes that, in some respects, The value of such actions is both humanitarian and commercially advantageous. One is also persuaded that the presence of a code of conduct and a code of ethics is commercially advantageous. This would be supplemented by an ethics committee which would consider amendments to the Code. The advantages to commerce include the value of stremes, of successional planning: to which are added some legislative suggestions.
