Optimal Load Condition for a Resonant Wireless Charging System
The experimental investigations have been carried out in order to delineate the load dependencies on the performance of the magnetic resonant wireless charging system. The delivered load power and the power transfer efficiency corresponding to load, frequency, and separation distance are studied, and the optimal load condition to uphold the maximum power transfer efficiency is achieved. It has been found that there exists an optimal load value for which the delivered load power as well as power transfer efficiency is maximum. The study also reveals the frequency dependencies on power transfer efficiency for various vertical offset between the transmitting and receiving coils.
