In the Beginning: Iran’s Constitutional Law After the 1979 Islamic Revolution

Abstract

This chapter critically examines the viewpoints of Khomeini, Shariati and Bazargan and their followers with regard to their influence on the development of the constitution and constitutional law of Iran, following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and elaborates the concept of ideology from the five analytical perspectives that this book employs.
