Counselling Parents of Retinoblastoma Patients

Abstract

Counselling of parents of a child diagnosed with retinoblastoma is a crucial part of his/her treatment. When talking to parents of a child with retinoblastoma, The clinician should outline the diagnosis, staging, evidence based treatment options, importance of a tailored protocol and local with systemic outcomes as explained in this chapter.
