Stepwise Internalization Process of Multifunctionality by Farm Diversification

Abstract

This Chapter deals with a stepwise internalization process through open networks by focussing on the educational function provided by dairy farming, i.e., farming experience services, in Japan. This chapter also clarifies the significance of institutional jointness and an open network of farmers for the promotion of this internalization process.
