Abstract

Purpose To study the relationship between personality and performance in speed skill training of cadets in military academies. Methods The personality traits of 30 students randomly selected from a military academy were tested with the Cattell 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire. Pearson’s correlation analysis in SPSS 20.0 software was used to analyze the correlation between the test results and speed skill training results. Results The susceptibility of human beings has a significant influence on the training of speed skills. Conclusion Military academy teachers should pay attention to and give full play to the personality characteristics of the cadets in speed skill training, so as to improve the training effect.
