Abstract

It lies lateral to the external iliac artery on the psoas muscle. The nerve should be protected during pelvic lymphadenectomy. It runs parallel till it dips down into the psoas muscle. The injury to this nerve can lead to parenthesis in the medial side of the thigh (Figs. 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, 9.7, 9.8, 9.9, 9.10, 9.11, 9.12, 9.13, 9.14, 9.15, 9.16, 9.17, and 9.18).
