Abstract

In this chapter, we explain the experimental techniques (essentials of the electrical transport measurements, resistivity measurements under pressure, generation of pulsed magnetic fields, cryostat system in high-field measurements, and resistivity/magnetization/ultrasonic measurements in pulsed magnetic fields) utilized in this study. We also describe the black phosphorus and \(\text {Pb}_{1-\text {x}}\text {Sn}_{\text {x}}\text {Te}\) samples investigated in this study.
