Durability Performance of Structural Light Weight Concrete
An attempt has been made to ponder the durability characteristics of basic lightweight concrete, which can be used for structural purpose manufactured by substituting coarse totally in volume by lightweight totals viz., Cinder and LECA solid evaluations. The extent, 60% Cinder and 40% LECA, has been observed to be an ideal extent that gave target compressive quality for M20 and M30 review of concrete separately. Further, these specimens were subjected to acid assault, sulfate assault, and chloride assault for 28, 56, 90, and 180 days to check the durability performance. The fireproof test was additionally done. The results inferred that substitution of coarse totals by blending lightweight totals should be possible in concrete with no trade-off in its strength and durability.
