Biogas Plant Slurry Dewatering and Drying Using Hybrid System: A Review

Abstract

India is the largest milk producing country in the world as well largest animal stock in the world. Wastes generated from animals is the challenge to the society as a whole. In this paper the slurry coming out from biogas plant is used for dewatering and drying has been discussed. The work carried out by many researchers has been collected and discussed. The tables and charts has been drawn from the collected data and comparison has been made. The solid cake after dewatering can be used as a natural fertilizers for our agricultural land and major society problem of biogas plant waste can be solved by suitable use of dewatering and drying technology.
