Abstract

The dorsal hand is considered as a perfect tissue donor site, as it is distributed with multiple vessels can covered with smooth skin with moderate thickness and elasticity, and also has rich resources for tissue transplantation, such as metacarpal dorsal nerve, extensor tendon and metacarpus. Multiple types of flaps can be designed with dorsal hand, such as dorsal metacarpal artery perforator flap, ulnar palmar digitus minimus artery perforator flap, hand dorsum perforator flap from dorsal carpal branch of ulnar artery.
