Summary

The frequencies of individuals with agglutinogen Vh (genotypes Vh/Vh and Vh/vh) and with agglutinogen Hi (genotypes Hi/Hi and Hi/hi) in several breeds of chickens are presented. The preliminary results referring to phenotype and genotype frequencies at the G3 locus of strains sensitive and resistant to coccidiosis are described. The question of the manifestation of the Hi agglutinogen and its dependence on the intensity of egg production is discussed.
