A New Technique for the Permanent Recording of Electrophoretic Results
A new Dalcomatic automatic copier from the firm “Nederlandsche Fotografische Industrie N.V.” was installed in our laboratory and has been used for the production of copies of all kinds of gels by a true photographic process. The Dalcomatic proved to be very sensitive as it even gave full tonal separation of black from red in cases of gels showing results of serum proteins and enzymes simultaneously. Technical data of the apparatus and details regarding exposure time and paper types are given.
