The Serological Analysis of the A Blood Group Substance(s)

Abstract

Methods for the diagnosis of the haemolytic disease of the newborn due to the ABO blood group incompatibility are still quite unsatisfactory (Damerow (1963)). In an attempt to find a new approach, our first step was to survey all the work previously done. This paper reviews briefly what is known about the serological analysis of the A antigen mosaicism.
