Importance of Antiglobulin Reaction for Detection of New Factors in Cattle
Antiglobulin sera have been obtained in three goats, each of which was immunized with one bovine plasma — Freund’s adjuvant was used. After suitable absorption of the anti-red cell antibodies with a titre from 1/16 to 1/32, the precipitating titre of the three sera was in the ring test: 1°/1/4, 2°/1/8, 3°/1/2. Precipitation in agar gave bad results (only a weak line of precipitation with the pure serum No 2).
