Abstract

This chapter addresses the forecasted technical, economic and environmental indices of technologies for production of final energy forms (electrical, thermal, mechanical and chemical) and for production of intermediate energy carriers (motor fuels, residual fuel oil, substitute gas, methanol and hydrogen) that are presented in the GEM-10R model. The authors mean here the generalized technologies (macrotechnologies) for production of any energy form or carrier using one or another primary energy resource (or energy carrier).
