Abstract

Duplications of chromosomes may lead to understanding of gene dosage effects of triallelic controlled characters and of deviation from frequency distributions of definite phenotypes, as stated by Bender et al. (1967). These effects of duplication would be expected to occur in mosaic patients in a degree related to their degree of mosaicism.
