Embryology and Congenital Abnormalities
An understanding of the evolution of the genitourinary system is essential if the system’s normal and abnormal anatomy is to be understood. Many of the congenital abnormalities in this chapter are further discussed elsewhere, especially in chapter XIV, Paediatric Urology.
