Samenvatting
Pubalgie is een pijnsyndroom ter hoogte van de schaamstreek dat vooral bij sporters voorkomt. Vooral in die takken van sport waarbij moet worden afgezet met een been, zoals bij voetbal, schaatsen en hardlopen, is het een relatief veel voorkomend probleem. In een Zweedse studie naar het voorkomen van voetbalblessures was 5% van alle blessures gelokaliseerd in de lies (1).
