De diagnostische criteria voor het stellen van de diagnose Allergische BronchoPulmonale Aspergillose (ABPA) geven vaak aanleiding tot discussie binnen de longziekten. Om wat meer duidelijkheid te krijgen ben ik terug gegaan naar de oorspronkelijke publicaties over dit onderwerp. De term Allergische BronchoPulmonale Aspergillose is voor het eerst beschreven door Hinson, Moon en Plummer in 1952 (tabel I) (1).
