Zusammenfassung

Die Frage, ob Proteine im Blut als Depot- oder Transporteiweiße fungieren, wurde von Benn-hold in der Deutschen Medizinischen Wochenschrift bereits 1947 im Zusammenhang mit Beobachtungen über das Diffusionsverhalten von Farbstoffen in einer Gelatinematrix diskutiert. Danach diffundierte der Farbstoff nicht mit der zu erwartenden Geschwindigkeit, sondern wanderte langsamer mit dem Albumin. 1924 berichteten Rosenthal und White, daß serumhaltige Bromsulphthaleinlösungen die Ultrafiltration des Farbstoffes durch eine Kollodiummembran verhindern.
