Abstract

C++ is not an object-oriented language. It allows for object-oriented programming. The features of object-oriented programming introduced in chapter 9 can be mapped to features of the C++ language. In this chapter we introduce the design of classes in C++ and show the use of abstract data types for encapsulation.
