Zusammenfassung

In den letzten 15 Jahren hat sich der Lungenultraschall von der Darstellung des Pleuraergusses und Lungenkonsolidierungen wesentlich weiterentwickelt. Es findet ein revolutionärer Wandel statt, besonders in der »point of care«-Anwendung. Es konnte bewiesen werden, dass LUS nützlich ist im Nachweis des kardialen Lungenödems, ARDS, Lungenverletzungen und interstitiellen Lungenerkrankungen. In den nächsten Jahren wird die Einschätzung des Interstitiellen Syndroms in verschiedenen klinischen Situationen an Bedeutung gewinnen, von der Notaufnahme über die Intensivstation bis zu kardiologischen, pulmologischen und nephrologischen Abteilungen.
