Abstract

Carbon disulfide inhibits the activity of various enzymes in serum and in tissue both in vivo and in vitro [1,3–7]. We have examined the effect of small concentrations of CS2 on the metabolism of various drugs by the liver, since there has been a suggestion of interference [2]. We used hexobarbital-Na, aminophenazone, and procaine-HCl.
