Zusammenfassung

Vorgestellt werden in dieser Arbeit diagnostisch interessante und relevante HIV-Parameter sowie die Prinzipien der darauf aufbauenden verschiedenen Teste. Im Mittelpunkt der Ausführungen stehen ihre Aussagekraft sowie Mittel und Wege zur endgültigen Absicherung der Diagnose. Des weiteren geht aus der Übersicht hervor, inwieweit bei HIV-Infektionen die gegenwärtig verfügbaren serologischen Teste für Frühdiagnose, Verlaufsbeurteilung, Prognosestellung und Therapieüberwachung nützlich sein können.
