Database Used for Optimal Control of the Djerdap Hydropower System

Summary

The optimisation model is realised as a program package with appropriate database. Some of the files contain: morphological data (of the river system), characteristics of the units of power plants, spilllways, and extreme values of controlable variables. Other files contain the discrete values of the dynamic vairables during the given time horizon as: required power, predicted hydrological inflows, and water levels and blows.

All the programs from the package use the data are by the particular subroutines. The original input data are entered by user of the program package according to the specified formats.
