Observations on thin metal films during controlled deformation in the electron microscope

  • D. W. Pashley

The microstructure of metals which have been deformed in a plastic manner has been studied with the electron microscope by a number of workers [see, for example, Heidenreich (1); Hirsch, Kelly and Menter (2); Hirsch, Horne and Whelan (3); Bollmann (4)].
