Recrystallization of cold rolled nickel

Abstract

A lot of research work has been done on recovery and recrystallization of cold worked metals. A detailed survey article was given by P. A. Beck (1). The essential experimental methods applied until now are: optical metallography, X-ray diffraction, strain- and impression-hardness measurements, microcalorimetry, and electrical resistance measurements. This paper deals with the recrystallization of nickel of a given quality (detailed below). The method applied is transmission electron-microscopy.
