Abstract

Teenage pregnancy has internationally been conceived as a problem. The negative consequences from early childbearing have been broadly documented and the relevance of the phenomenon reflected in numerous projects, programs, and government policies. First, there is evidence on the associations of teenage pregnancy with reduced educational, economic, and social outcomes of the mother and the child.
