Established models of the client-consultant interaction

Abstract

Three basic models dominate the existing literature on client-consultant interaction. Prior research has focused on the client-consultant relationship as a client-expert interaction and as a symbolic interaction. Both views stress, however, single features of the clientconsultant interaction without recognizing its multidimensional and complex character.
