Abstract

Chapter  2 proposed the mathematizing concept of measure as a first concept to be developed in a longer learning trajectory towards the mathematizing goals of mathematical literacy in statistics. Chapter  3 introduced a conceptualization of measure that allows to describe general measures to be developed as well as learners’ situative measures. This chapter introduces the learning-theoretical background of this thesis (Section 4.1).
