Zusammenfassung

Obwohl Ekel, Wut sowie Verlegenheit, Scham und Schuld immer wieder gerne als rhetorisches Stilmittel in der Gesundheitskommunikation zum Einsatz kommen, kann die Befundlage zu ihrer Wirkung bestenfalls als dürftig bezeichnet werden. In diesem Kapitel werden die theoretischen Grundlagen der einzelnen Emotionen sowie die vorliegenden empirischen Befunde besprochen. Das Kapitel schließt mit einer kurzen Zusammenfassung und Bewertung zum Stand der Forschung.
