Zusammenfassung

Eine zusammenfassende Darstellung der Theorie der Atomkerne — also dessen, was an zusammenhängend deutbaren und verstehbaren Gesetzmäßigkeiten in dem umfangreichen kernphysikalischen Erfahrungsmaterial erkannt worden ist — wurde 1936 von C. F. v. Weizsäcker gegeben: „Die Atomkerne“ (1). Ebenfalls 1936 wurde ein Bericht von H. A. Bethe und R. F. Bacher vorgelegt: „Nuclear Physics A“ (2), dessen zweiter Teil in Aussicht steht. Der Berichterstatter hat einen kurzen Überblick über den Stand der Kerntheorie in seiner „Anschaulichen Quantentheorie“ (8)gegeben.
