Zusammenfassung
Eine verzögerte pathologische Wundheilung beim Menschen beruht u. a. auf Stoffwechselstörungen, Störungen der immunologischen und phagozytären Aktivität. Experimentelle Modelle am Tier oder in der Zellkultur ermöglichen es, den Einfluß dieser Faktoren auf verschiedene Wundheilungsparameler isoliert zu untersuchen. So attraktiv der Einsatz von Wachstumsfaktoren in der Praxis zur Stimulation der Wundheilung auch erscheinen mag, so begrenzt sich dieser durch die ungewollte systemische Wirkung der Wachstumsfaktoren und deren relative hohe Kosten.
