Multiple-Quantum NMR Spectroscopy of Half-Integer Quadrupolar Nuclei in Rotating Solids

Abstract

1D and 2D NMR pulse sequences are presented for studying multiple-quantum (MQ) transitions in half-integer I = 3/2 and 5/2 quadrupolar nuclei in rotating solids. Computer s;imulations of the MQ (2D) or MQ-filtered (1D) spinning sideband manifolds allow accurate determination of the quadrupolar interaction parameters
