Multiaxis Reorientation of ND4+ Ions: New Sequential Model

Abstract

Reorientations are simulated in 2H-NMR spectra of ND+ 4 for a number of models involving simple and multiple jumps about symmetry axes. A new sequential model of uncorrected random jumps is proposed for anisotropic multiaxis reorientation. Obtained results bring a comprehensive interpretation of all observations and shake some hitherto existing conclusions.
