(TMTSF)2(2,5-DBr-DCNQI) A CT-Complex with Magnetic and Electrical Properties Attributed to Different Stacks

Abstract

The charge transport in (TMTSF) 2 (2, 5-DBr-DCNQI) is due to hopping, between TMTSF sites, with a characteristic hopping rate. The ESR linewidth is dominated by spin-orbit coupling, the temperature dependence is given by the phonon density and the hopping frequency for the charge transport The susceptibility is dominated by the localized spins on the DCNQI molecules. The susceptibility is well described by an antiferromagnetically coupled Heisenberg chain with J = 6 K (Bonner-Fisher model).
