Two New Pulsed EPR Experiments: FT — EPR Detected NMR and FT — Hyperfine — Spectroscopy

Abstract

Two new pulse sequences to extract hyperfine splittings from an inhomogeneously broadened EPR line are presented. In the first approach a ‘spectrum’ of holes is burned into the EPR line by driving forbidden EPR transitions, whereas in the second technique holes are burned by inducing nuclear transitions. In both cases the hole spectra are detected via an FID.
