Light-Induced Changes in the FMR Parameters of CdCr2Se4

Abstract

Investigations of the ferromagnetic resonance in CdCr2Se4 single crystals showed that irradiation with infrared light induced appreciable changes in the FMR parameters. These changes appeared only below TC= 130 K and were produced by photons of wavelength in the range of 800–1500 nm. It was also found that infrared irradiation induces an increase in the magnetic anisotropy of this material.
