EPR Study of the Phase Fluctuation Near T1 in the Incommensurate [Mg(H2O)6]SiF6

Abstract

EPR study of Mn2+ in [Mg (H2O)6]SiF6 show that in the vicinity of the normal-incommensurate transition floating of the phase of the pinned incommensurate modulation wave results in partial motional averaging of EPR line broadening and increase in the apparent critical exponent β-f.
