Chain Dynamics of a Liquid Crystal Studied by Proton N.M.R. Relaxation Dispersion
The longitudinal proton spin relaxation time T1 was measured over a broad range of Larmor frequencies w in the nematic and isotropic phases of the liquid crystal Hexyloxyazoxybenzene, deuterated on the benzene rings (60AB-D8). All the measurements were made on a Fast Field-Cycling Spectrometer . Our analysis also takes into account T1 data from the literature .
