La NQR and Relaxation Study of La2Cu1-xNixO4

Abstract

The effects of substituting the Cu2+ (S-l/2) with Ni2+ (S=l) in the prototype system for high-Tc superconductors, La2CuO4, is investigated by 139La NQR spectra and relaxation, for x ranging from 0 to 1.
