Zusammenfassung

Da die fünfte Auflage dieses Handbuches die vierte ergänzen und fortführen, nicht ersetzen soll, strebt die Darstellung der bösartigen Geschwülste des Magens keine Vollständigkeit an. Es geht uns vielmehr darum, die aktuellen Fragen ausführlich zu erörtern und das gründlicher zu behandeln, was seit der vierten Auflage an klinisch wichtigen Erkenntnissen hinzugekommen ist.
