Abstract

Part II of the »Isophotometric Atlas of Comets» is similar arranged to part I. The individual sheets are again divided into three categories:
  1. a)

Positive copies of the original photographs, compiled in sheets A to J. Each individual photo of a comet may be found on these pages in chronological order, marked by sequential arabic numerals.

  2. b)

Isophote diagrams of the original photos of a), partly in the original scale (e.g. in the comet Mrkos 1957d), but in most cases enlarged 1.5 to 2 times. The individual sheets are marked by roman numerals. The individual objects have the same arabic numerals like their analogous photos on the sheets under a).

  3. c)

Enlarged diagrams of isophotes (5 to 10 times) of the cometary heads and nuclei from category b). The sheets of category c) are also marked with roman numerals, and the individual objects have the same arabic numerals like their analogous photos on the sheets of category a) and b).
