Substitution Operators. The SchrÖder Equation
Let us now consider operators of type H of the specific form, in the simple special case A= 1, C = 0, (2.1) Hf(x) = f[w(x)], I.e. substitution operators. The eigenvalue equation of this operator is the Schroder equation (2.2) f[u(x)] = λf(x).
