Abstract

This text is intended to introduce the reader to the solution of physics problems with the computer. The examples have been kept as simple as possible, in order to minimize the effort of expressing them algebraically, numerically, and graphically. The use of computers is learned mainly in the course of one’s own work — readiness for continuous experimenting, playful curiosity, and the desire to research are important prerequisites for obtaining the maximum benefit from this book.
