Abstract

This chapter provides the enthalpy of formation of Lu-Pt (lutetium-platinum) system.

Thermodynamics

With high-temperature calorimetry at 1474 ± 2 K Guo et al. [95Guo] have obtained results from which they have calculated standard enthalpies of formation of intermediate phases. The values obtained are given in Table 1.
