Abstract

This chapter provides the enthalpy of formation of Si-Zr (silicon-zirconium) system.

Thermodynamics

With high-temperature calorimetric work at 1473 ± 2 K Meschel et al. [98Mes] have used these results to calculate standard enthalpies of formation of intermediate phases. The results obtained are given in Table 1.
