Abstract

This chapter provides the enthalpy of formation of PrRh2.

Thermodynamics

From results of high-temperature calorimetry at 1473 ± 2 K Guo et al. [94Guo] have determined the standard enthalpy of the intermediate compound of PrRh2. The value obtained is
$$ \Delta {\mathrm{H}}_{298}^{\mathrm{S}}=-60.4\kern0.3em \pm \kern0.3em 1.7\mathrm{kJg}-{\mathrm{atom}}^{-1} $$
